Shrimp vodka pasta, when you don’t want to make vodka sauce from scratch.
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
Over a pan, cook;
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 2 shallots
Cook shallots low heat for about 7-10 mins. Then add the following;
– 3-4 cloves of Garlic
– 2 tbsp Tomato paste
– Red pepper flakes
– Fresh chopped fresh parsley
– S&P
Cook for another 3-4 mins, add the following;
– Raos vodka sauce (about 3/4 of jar)
– Heavy whipped cream (coconut milk also works)
– Few dashes of Worcestershire sauce
– Zest of 1 lemon, half of the juice
Simmer for 5 about mins. add the following
– Shrimp
– Butter
– Fresh Basil
Top with
– Grated Parmesan cheese
