Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar ( 9 April 19 in Mumbai) is an Indian cricketer who is the greatest batsman in the history of cricket.

 He is the leading batsman to score centuries in Test and One-Day International cricket. 

 

 In 2006, Wisden made Tendulkar the second-largest Test batsman in Test cricket after Sir Donald Bradman and the second-largest ODI batsman after Sir Vivian Richards.

 In September 2006, Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne named Tendulkar as the greatest player to have played alongside him. [3] Tendulkar is the only player of the current generation to be included in Bradman XI. 

 They are also often referred to as Little Master or Master Blaster. Sachin Tendulkar was part of the Indian team in a total of six Cricket World Cups, including the 2011 World Cup-winning Indian team. 

 He was also voted Player of the Tournament at the World Cup in South Africa in 2006.

Tendulkar is the highest run-scorer in both Tests and ODIs and holds the record for scoring the most centuries in both types of games. T

is the first player to score 20 centuries in international cricket, as well as a record of 100 international centuries.

 

  On 30 November 2009, Tendulkar completed 30,000 runs. When he surpassed Brian Lara’s record of scoring the most runs in Test cricket on 19 October 2009, he became the first batsman to complete 15,000 runs in such a game.

 He is also the third batsman to cross 11,000 runs in Test cricket and the first Indian. He was the first batsman to complete 10,000 runs in ODIs and the first batsman to cross the 10,000-run mark in the history of ODI cricket. 

 In the fourth Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Tendulkar surpassed Alan Border’s 50-run record in the history of Test cricket and it took England’s Sir Jack Hobbs more than 50 years to score 10 Test centuries. 

 Tendulkar has been awarded the second highest civilian honor of India and the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, the Padma Vibhushan, India’s highest honor in the field of sports.

 

  Tendulkar announced his retirement from ODI in December 2014. [2] He retired from Twenty20 cricket in October 2016, [3] and he also announced his retirement from the entire cricket world, according to which the West Indies cricket team’s match was played on 16 October 2016 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai .

Sehwag has the highest score by an Indian in Test cricket (319 against South Africa at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai), which holds several records, including the fastest third century in the history of international cricket (in just 278 balls). A quick 250 by any batsmen (207 balls against Sri Lanka at Brabourne Stadium on December 250, 200 on). 

 Sehwag is one of only four batsmen in the world to cross 300 runs in Test cricket so far.

 After returning to form in 2008 and the retirement of Anil Kumble, Sehwag was re-appointed as vice-captain for both Tests and ODIs. In early 2009, Sehwag established himself as the best performing batsman in ODI cricket.
